🔥 Rise From the Reclining Place | Breaking the Grip of Unbelief & Move in Purpose

There are moments in our walk with God where disappointment, comfort, fear, or weariness can slowly move us into a reclining place spiritually…
You may still love God.
You may still pray.
But something stopped moving.
This week during Monday Morning Prayer, the Lord gave a clear call:
👉 Rise from the reclining place.
🔥 Every Encounter Should Produce Movement
Every true encounter with God should produce movement.
Throughout scripture, people who truly encountered God were changed:
• Moses returned transformed
• Isaiah answered the call
• Peter left his nets
• Paul changed direction completely
God does not reveal Himself to leave us stagnant.
James 2:17 says:
“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”
Encounter should produce movement.
🔥 Stir Up the Gift
2 Timothy 1:6 says:
“Stir up the gift of God, which is in thee…”
Paul reminded Timothy that the gift was still there.
It simply needed to be stirred again.
The fire may feel buried beneath disappointment, fear, delay, or complacency…
But what God placed inside of you is still there.
🔥 The fire is still there.
🔥 The gift is still there.
🔥 The call is still there.
You may have been knocked down, discouraged, overlooked, or weary…
But there is still grace to rise again.
The question is not whether God placed it there.
The question is whether you will stir it again.
🌿 Hosting the Presence of God
We cannot truly host the presence of God while ignoring the areas He is confronting.
His presence exposes.
His presence awakens.
His presence calls us higher.
2 Corinthians 13:5 says:
“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith…”
This is not condemnation.
It is an invitation to allow God to search us deeply so we can move again.
God is calling believers out of comfort and complacency.
Every true encounter with God should produce movement.

Take a moment and ask yourself:
• Have I become spiritually comfortable?
• What has stopped my movement?
• What has God been calling me to obey?
• What areas need to be stirred again?
